Dairy is destined for a pullback. But it has reupped every time so far. It seems the dreaded 3-yr dairy cycle had finally been broken for now. I'm glad it was demand that did it instead of low supply or general market funny business.
My nutritionist talked about this the other day. He said he was expecting a big rally in late summer into the fall that never really came. I'm still not sure that we have rebuilt the herd in the US since the drought the last couple years. I also haven't heard of anyone getting aggressive and double size either.
I ran the numbers yesterday from http://membership.upstateniagara.com and I'm guessing $26 for march and $27 for April if the bottom doesn't fall out. I got $25 for February. |
