| I have 2 ez steer systems... one on a four wheel drive for tillage and the other on the planter tractor. I honestly don't know how a hydraulic system could hold the line any better. It takes a while to get the ez steer dialed in properly but once it is it will hold the line very nicely. You just need to make sure it's set up properly (as far as roll calibration and entering the correct values/information) and then change the angle/turn and aggressiveness until it follows the line. If slowly weaving back and forth going up the field I would first lower the angle/turn number which would make it more aggressive as far as getting back to the line... then fine tune it with the aggressiveness setting. On the ends I make the turn and get straightened out close to where I should be before engaging the steering... when doing this the ez steer has no problem getting to the line and staying on it. | |
