The GLONASS system is in fact a stand alone system. It is a military weapon just like GPS is a military weapon. Why you would ever want to use it as such is beyond me however. I am pretty sure the FMX is capable of running GLONASS only, I'm told its a requirement to sell the display in Russia.
XFill uses GLONASS. Xfill is using RTX signal which requires GLONASS to function.
