| This is going to be a long list of questions, but here goes:
What kind of tractor is it?
Where is the antenna?
Your EZ-Steer controller. Where is it mounted and what direction are the connections facing?
What is your antenna height entered at?
What is your wheelbase?
What is your antenna offset distance? Forward or back?
Angle per turn?
Online aggressiveness?
Approach aggressiveness?
Speed of operation?
Roll offset?
Firmware on the EZ-Guide 500?
You have two systems involved here. The first is your guidance, which you are running on WAAS. Guidance determines where your line is. Regardless of the signal quality, and AB line should be a straight line, it may just be a straight line that's too far to the left or the right. The steering system is the second part. If it's not calibrated properly it won't hold a straight line, whether that line is in the right spot or not. Your issue seems more related to the steering side of the equation.
One minor nitpick, SF1 isn't a free signal. It's a $3000 activation.
I have a few dozen EZ-Guide 500 EZ-Steer systems running in my area. They aren't a hydraulic steering system, but when everything is dialled in you should be able to get better performance than you are describing. | |
