Subject: RE: Seed salesmen rant

Cooper County , Missouri
I don't see anything wrong with a seed salesman farming beside there customers. It brings a lot of information on the right and wrong ways to do things to help both of you out. I am a seed salesman for a regional company. Yes I farm , yes I will sell the best hybrids I can get ahold of to my neighbors also. Everybody needs to make a living and do the best they can for there self. I feel like I bring a service to my seed business in a honest way. To the guys that don't like being hassled in the fall by seed salesman, don't gripe to them that you didn't get your preferred seed size, trait, variety, or all the discounts you can receive to help your bottom line out. And I guess it's okay for the full time farmer to drive a brand new pickup every year, put up new Morton buildings, trade in brand new equipment every year, have a winter vacation home or out of country vacation but its not okay for the salesman to have a nice vehicle and shed and putting food on there table everyday.
