Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Putting the section valves close to the distribution point (often out on the wings) has several advantages as indicated in the above posts.
However it appears that you have them mounted already. Even so, I think I would move them since you are not into it too far yet. You will need to get some 1" hose but will save on the 3/8 which is not probably an even trade off. Your 3/8 runs will be shorter and easier to keep them the same length.
