I agree w/you. Seed companies overbook. Same as airlines & hotels. You & I stand on this side of the counter & wonder how that could be. Just like you said about delivering grain. If you sold 10,000 bus but there's only 5000 bus in the bin, you'd better do some creative hustling. Actually, one would think it almost a criminal act to overbook seed, overbook airline seats, or overbook hotel rooms, but it apparently isn't. Sadly, no one really cares what the customer thinks, which is why the OP went on his tyrage. He doesn't care what (or why) the customer thinks, he just wants the customer to accept the rules as he writes them, again, just like the airlines or hotels. They all overbook purely for money....that's it, plain  & simple. Money.
