Quincy, IL | It sounds like terraces would work great if the ground lays like you describe. Being able to build terraces the same direction you farm, where you're not sure they are 'needed' will work great! Put the top dam and riser in each draw about 50-100 feet higher than you think they are needed. If it barely washes now, 6 or 8" tile and relatively small structures will do a lot of good. Having said that, put in 8" where you think you need 6"! | |
