SE Iowa | I guarantee someone has already asked. Did you know him personally and/or ever talk to him or his wife? At this late date some inputs are probably bought, some applied. If so I would offer my help putting in the crop for 2014. You won't be the only one. Many others will do the same if neighbors are like they are here where I live. And they do it for fuel only. If you only knew him as the guy across the road from some rented ground and live miles away I would not get involved. In my area when a farm is available for rent, there will be 30 guys putting in bids. In this instance, a close neighbor or relative will probably be farming it if she decides to rent in 2014. | |
