NE Miss | Some of the best advice I get around here is from an 86 year old guy who is still active on the farm. Have learned more, and he has forgotten more than I will ever know about this profession. He has always been progressive and open to new things and never quits learning or improving.
It can be frustrating to see someone do something just cause that's the way dad and granddad did it. I wouldn't ever say they were wrong for doing it, because at the time, with the equipment, technology, and chemistry limitations they had it may have very well been the best way to do it.
The saying "If your not going forward, your going backwards" has a lot of meaning in this industry, in your faith, and in life. | |
