Little River, TX
Maybe consider 110 K spread before planting and your 70 units 2 X 2?

Here 400 ppm K is on the low side, 500 ppm K is better for plant levels of K.

Actually now I am top dressing potash going into our Summer High Stress Times.
Our Academic Friends tell us not to do it this way due to a risk of luxury uptake. That is what I want Luxurious levels of plant potassium.

We will see how this works, if we ever have an average season again.

But Here is here and There is there with different soils and different climates.
