that far southwest can be either irrigated or dryland...probably dryland since I didn't see it mention rice. Biggest concerns down there are sprout damage on milo from the hurricanes, always a risk of drought, and aflatoxin in the corn always a biggie...plus not very close to end user markets....corn basis always fairly weak, milo basis the opposite....many times milo in that region worth more than corn. no experience with beans or cotton in that area. surprised they are leasing it this late...crop is already up and out of the ground down there.
