Being a seed dealer, if the seed is winter production, it sometimes becomes a hassle. This is something you need to communicate with your specific dealer about. Try to avoid winter production hybrids if delivery time could become an issue, or at least then you could plan accordingly. Sometimes the dealer can't get seed shipped to them bc of road postings, weather delays, load delays... If this is an issue every year, I can definitely see your frustrations and maybe it's time to look elsewhere...

As for seed size, that is not something the dealer has much control over... Mother Nature and hybrid family are the biggest factors in what seed is produced, whether it produces flats or rounds... Also an issue to discuss with your local dealer. Sometimes the best hybrids don't always work the best for certain customers...
