Southern Ohio
I'm very inexperienced and last year was my first corn crop (no till in bean stubble) so take this for what it's worth. It was mid 80's one day while planting, and got nailed with a gulley washer, couldn't even make it out of the field and waited it out in the tractor. The stand was perfect where I had been planting right before the rain, aside from a small sloped area that washed out a few furrows but nothing real bad. I couldn't get back in for 2 or 3 days and that was still too early. I didn't think it was that muddy but my stand was poor on the ground that was planted that first day back after the big rain, it just need one extra day to dry out.
