Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot
How many tons/year do you put up? I really have no advise, never been around two tie bales and never really seen any hay done by hand. Just curious. I'm impressed by it though, don't get me wrong. Just wondering how much you can do with such a setup. Thinking if those bales are 75 lbs, that would be 4300 bales to do an 80 of 2 ton hay.

It would be tough to find labor for that here. The three tie, 100-140 lb bales we use are known as 'small bales' here. But we don't handle them by hand. But more and more guys don't even want to mess with them, all 3x4x8' big squares. If my kids ever want to farm they'll probably have to go to a museum to find a little baler.
