Southeast WI | Ed, how have you determined what forms of N your crop needs and when? I'm looking for more of an answer than "trial and error". If that is the answer then let us know what works, or doesn't, and why. It may not be the same here, but at least it will give all of us place to start trying. Like what problems does AMS at harvest alleviate for you? Here if we apply AMS in the Fall we alleviate the problem of having sulfur around for the crop next Summer as it could easily be lost by then. And that's not just on our sandy ground. These heavy rains really flush Sulfur away.
I am looking for your playbook, so to speak, but I'm doing this because you post with such conviction here and we all want to learn how to make it work in our situation. | |
