Subject: RE: hay growers question?

We have two of them on our dairy farm. They work good for us, keeps dad in the field baling by himself. We are fortunate to have a good crew of neighbor kids in the yard. There should be no reason the baler is waiting for a wagon unless there is a conveyor problem. The one thing we have noticed is that it is the bales are harder to get the density right on the beginning of the first load. Dad usually bales 3 bales and opens the gate and handles them. The other downfall is that if you dont watch the twine and you get some one-stringers or no stings there is a lot of loose hay in the barn yard. Overall we like them and would never go back.
