make them poke holes in the pit with a hoe, then take as much of the plastic pit as they can, and cover it up. we have lots of quarters with 10+ pits on them and we really cant tell later. where the topsoil is scraped back is where you get screwed.
but you are in an I state, so I am sure you have more than the 8 inches of topsoil we have.
