April 1st wheat looks like March 1st wheat. Wheat hasn't started jointing yet. We'll probably harvest wheat around 4th of July & have lo yielding double crop beans.
Wheat, however, looks really good & has greened up Nice. It's a tough plant. Last week it was 20 degrees and the wheat didn't show burned leaves.
This Wheat crop is strange - & I've seen 'um since the mid 70's.
