Is clover ever inter-cropped with small grains in your area?

Over-seeding with red clover, sweet clover or a mixture might be a good way to hold back some weeds and benefit from the thinner stand of oats.

We had a poor wheat crop last year but grew some tremendous red clover (clover was overseeded into the wheat almost exactly a year ago) that I am hopeful will result in some excellent corn this year.
