Is there actually a season for them out in this part of the world? I've never even to the best of my knowledge laid eyes on one. I would think that the prairie chicken and pheasants might prefer somewhat similar kinds of habitat and given what's happened to pheasant populations the last few years I think a guy would be hard pressed to find a prairie chicken anywhere.
