A friend had a 4366. Multiple breakdowns, very close together. When he did trade it off, he wanted to borrow hose so as not to drive it 200 feet to pump fuel back out of it into tank because it might break again.
4366 and 4166 are completely different tractors. 4166 is a rigid frame 4wd built in the Farmall Plant, 4366 is a articulated Steiger built tractor. 4366 is a good tractor, ran one for 20+ years with very little problems. Were lots of them here in the day and were reliable tractors and still quite a few 4366 and 4386's still working today. Yes they were crude compared to today but compared to other mid-70's 4wds were on par. |
