Subject: Case IH 1240 Planter Markers issue with Pro 600

Hello,

Helped a friend yesterday getting his new (new to him) 1240 planter running for the first time. All is going good except the markers. I asked him for the book and he didn't have the pro 600 manual.

What is the procedure on the pro 600 to use the markers? Let me be more specific. We are only using the markers for headlands and some weird shaped lines along the winding river edge. Guidance for the tractor is via the InSight monitor.

We could get the marker to drop to the side we wanted. But it took several tires to retract or shut them off... It would always leave the left marker upright. We switched from auto to manual to outer, to inner...???????

What procedure just folds them up or should I say shuts them off?

Thanks for any help.
