Here anyways, when dry summer winds near 100F the face will change 6 or 7 points moisture from morning feeding to evening feeding. The experienced feeder will compensate for that and hold back the load 10% to compensate, the inexperienced feeder won't know the difference, and this is where shrink comes from.
