I have had some people that run the SmartSteer on their combines. If the correction source is WAAS it works pretty good for beans or wheat, but I am not sure about using it in corn. Even with an upgraded signal like OmniStar (1-3") the SmartSteer doesn't have enough torque to give you that it may be more like 5-6". I don't think any other steering can tie into the Cruizer other than Raven steering. I have seen some nice small stand alone consoles that use row sense, but have never tried it.
