Missouri | An Ag Leader, a raven 440/460, and serial rate control gives a system with all the capabilities of a complete DirectCommand system EXCEPT for one function. Swath Control/Autoswath. At least, as far as I have observed from running both.
You can:
1) Prescription rate/manually change target rate from the Integra
2) Log actual as applied rate
3) Map actual as applied coverage (including section indicators, and coverage stops mapping on boom sections that are manually shut off)
4) Produce application reports with the Integra.
I did it with Dad's spra coupe since I already had all the parts anyway, except for one $40 cable. 3 booms are not too much to switch manually, and now that the coverage map shows gaps when booms are shut off, you don't have to worry about accidental skips if you forget to turn a boom back on (provided you are checking the map). | |
