1. how far above a stove top

) does a range hood/microwave combo need to be?
2. any ideas on how to calm a very pretty but VERY hyper female black lab puppy down?
Answer- you have to keep the puppy entertained with toys, soft dog trainer throw, 24/7. You can try rubbing their chest and belly. Our lab took 2 years to grow out. Run this puppy for several hours and then it will be nap time. Truck ride works.
2 questions - very much unrelated.
