Subject: RE: ATV Tires

Southeast WI
We run all Honda's here and surprisingly the best deals I got on tires the last couple of times was at the Honda store. Put originals on and they wear good. Fronts are always junk by 2500 miles, but rears last forever if they don't get holes in them. I actually have the original rear tires on my '04 Rancher with 8500 miles on it.

One trick I use is going to the local farm store and buying the green Slime and put a half bottle in each tire, then re-fill with air. Any little leak gets stopped up - won't stop a big nail leak but for small stuff it works.

I just ran out to the shop at lunch, old rear tires are Bridgestones and the new "original" fronts are original style but are Carlisle so I kinda lied. They are wearing good anyway but not a lot of use yet and they were priced competitively at the Honda dealer.
