NE SD | I don't know Marc..........before this spring, we had been using an 8220 JD on big rubber for planting and such. It seems to be very accurate and accuracy has only gotten better over the years. This spring, we went to using our four wheel drive and JD's steering wheel attatchment..............NOT HAPPY! My ears are very sensitive and I can't stand the noise for one thing. Snaking is excessive no matter what the settings, etc. Hydraulic will for SURE be on it before we do anything row crop. It looks to me like the universal works well on front wheel assists, combines, and track tractors, but I'm not having any more of that on anything else. I have a feeling when dad spends his fall listening to that damn motor going back and forth he'll feel the same way about the combine. Autosteer is a wonderful thing when it is working but the very seldom times it has given me problems it sure can be a headache. | |
