Very good eye ! No Scotchlok used on wiring this pump or 12 volt socket. Normally I am not a big fan of them either but in this case it was used to tie in a 12 volt flasher and amber flashing light into the rear work light circuit. That is a separate wire than the rear outlet socket. Can't really tell that in these pictures though. Another feature not designed for a 1952 model. :-)
