Here is how the registration works: The Username is what will appear on all of your posts. It must be unique among all the registered users on this forum. Individual users cannot change their Username, once they have chosen one but admins will do it if you send an email to the webmasters and tell us what you want it changed to.

When you initially register, you must also provide a valid email address. Reason for this is; you won't be asked for a password when you initially register. The system will mail you a randomly generated one to use the first time you logon. Of course, if you haven't used a valid address or the auto-generated email gets hung in your ISP's spam filter, you'll never get the email and will never be able to logon. Once you get the email, you can logon and then use the control panel at the upper right of the forum to change your password to something nicer to remember than that awful string of gibberish the system auto-generates.
