NW MN | Thanks for the info. We use beet pulp from american crystal sugar. They give it away you just have to haul it or pay to get it delivered. Lots of beef guys use pulp here... my father in law calves in the winter as he is in the field spring and fall. We just lock em in the barn when they are close. and if they drop one outside @ -30 they freeze to the ground or if your lucky they come away with short ears. I plan on April/May when I am on my own, too much work to calve in the winter but it works for him | |
