North East Kansas | Torn, are there any alternatives to splicing the wire on pin 14. I have used splices before and sometimes they work great and sometimes they cause future problems with the wires. I had thought about pulling the pin on 14 and soldering the new wire to the top of the pin where it meets the wire sheathing. Do you have any thoughts on this. Is pin 14 just a common ground? I could also run a separate wire up to it from somewhere else. I know I am just making this harder than it needs to be, but what are your thoughts. | |
