That's a bunch of the land that's in the National Grasslands now.

Some of the "big blow / dirt Go " areas now are simply due to less and less pivot water coupled to a Big dry weather cycle.
( this now 14 year drouth in the SW might end tomorrow....might last another 40 years too...another 10 to 20 years is basically a "given" ).

Timing wise, the current SW Big Dry looks like a 60 year run deal. MO

times change.






Sorry but if the government got a hold of that land it would be worse than the dustbowl by far....I have 100% confidence the west Texas farmers can take better care of it than the government.
