Dalhart, Texas | I have noticed that the native grasses in some of the corners has even died out to only be replaced by tumbleweeds. They then break off in the incessant winds leaving bare ground again which ultimately starts blowing again. We have even had lots of buffalo grass that has died out due to the persistent dryness. I wil say again that strip till and notill are going to be more important down here. If only they could strip till and apply compost at the same time! | |
