Dietrich, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho | I understand where you are coming from(I am the same way) but one thing to keep in mind is that the ez-boom software resides in the ez-boom itself so the hard reset did nothing to the ez-boom and how it operates(the 500 is just used to update through so you don't have to use a computer and the ez toolbox software). So there is nothing to worry about with that. The software for the 500 is the only thing that you changed by going back to 4.05 after the hard reset and that is supposed to be the most stable version that trimble had for the 500.
