Dietrich, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho | Does the 500 show ez boom version 1.0 or 1.01(or maybe 1.04)? You might be okay if it shows something like 1.04 because if I remember correctly the 500 shows versions like that instead of what we would think logically it should show. When you try to install 1.4 does it go through a procedure saying it is reading the firmware, then erasing old firmware, and then writing new firmware? If not I don't think it is doing anything when you select the 1.4 firmware and that may be why it still shows version 1.0. I will try to get my 500 hooked up to the ez boom today and look to see how it shows the version number in the 500. Sorry I can't be of more help. I hope you get it figured out soon. |
