You can input GPS into a 500 from another Trimble GPS only, basically it needs to communicate via TSIP. Any other gps will not work

Most common feeding a 262/252 into a Ez guide 500 works perfect

Using a 1500/1600- 2500 nope will not work period. Need to talk via TSIP.

I agree. Pushing GPS into the 500 would require TSIP which means a Trimble GPS.

I'm not following why this would be desirable with the situation that you describe. Since the Ag Leader apparently has its own GPS and the EZ-Guide 500 is a complete GPS system you could certainly have both operating in their own separate worlds. As you are aware the GPS from the 500 can feed the Ag Leader. I see no reason to try to do it the other way around even if you could.

In the case mentioned above about using a 262 with a 500 would have the advantage if the 262 is unlocked at a higher level of GPS correction. I wasn't sure that was even possible as I thought Trimble would want you to be forced into upgrading the 500 to the higher level but apparently that is possible.

I have a CFX-750 in one tractor at the WAAS level of correction. I have a 332 unlocked for Omni in another tractor. Would it be possible to use the 332 to feed the CFX-750 to get the advantage of the better correction. They are both obviously Trimble and have TSIP capabilities. I don't plan on doing this but would it be possible?
