northwest tennessee | Prolate Lintox-HD is the best thing I have ever used for flys. I have a place that I force them to use to drink and put a log chain across it and then use burlap sacks and attach them with hog rings to the chain. I mix diesel and burned motor oil half and half then use the insecticide and put it on with a pump up sprayer. The sacks are much better than the bought rubs. You can buy the sacks at rural king. Another thing is keep them out of ponds. Flies are hard to control when cattle run in ponds.
