Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I went further. I bought an air valve that attaches to the compressor. I wired it so it is controlled by a light switch by the shop door. When the switch is ON, the valve opens and the compressor circuit is hot so that it can run. When the switch is OFF, the valve closes and the compressor circuit is dead so the compressor cannot run. I have an indicator light by this switch which I painted red. Since it's by the door it is easy to see and shut off on my way out.
I do have to walk back to the door if I forget to turn it on and then need air but the distance isn't great. |
