Dietrich, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho | When the steering wheel/column on these tractors receives pressure from the hydraulics it raises(lengthens the column) slightly(this happens when the tractor is first started). When I was trying to turn the wheels with the manual detents the steering wheel/column would lower(shorten) like it was loosing pressure and when I let off the detent it would lengthen again like it was back up to normal pressure. The steering wheel didn't turn at all when I was trying turn the wheels with the detents so I think that is okay it just makes me wonder why the steering column is loosing pressure(lowering/shortening). Did the 4630 you put autopilot on do this to the steering column when manually turning the wheels with the detents on the solenoid valve? |
