Subject: UPDATE: Autopilot Calibration Poblem. STILL Need help!!

Dietrich, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho
I upgraded the software to 7.3 on the fmx and reloaded the default profile and then the correct profile for the 4430 and nothing changed.:( I am beginning to wonder if the 4430 has a hydraulic issue. I manually detented the valve(which I should have done to begin with) and it acts exactly the same as it does when trying to calibrate(only steers to the right and even when it does this it steers VERY SLOW). I have checked and checked again and the plumbing is correct. I also took the solenoid valve apart and checked it for plugged passages and it is all okay. Same with the pressure reducing valve and the sub plate. I am leaning toward one of the 4430 steering system valves as the culprit. I just don't know how to isolate which is the problem yet.

Also, when I was manually detenting the valve the steering wheel would lower slightly and when I released the detent then the wheel would raise again. This makes me think the oil is being taken away from the system and not going where is should to steer the front wheels but I don't know for sure.
