Dietrich, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho | I finally got a chance this morning to try to get the JD4430 that I just installed a Trimble Autopilot system on calibrated and can't get it to work!!! When I try the dead zone cal it will steer to right but when I try to steer left it doesn't do anything except drift slowly to the left(very little) and then bring up the error that says the valve connections may be wrong. I swapped the connections on the valve and it still does the exact same thing(steers right okay but won't do anything left and brings up the same error). I tried doing the valve gain test and it does the same(steers right but not left) and then it showed a fault code. The fault code was F#85 if I remember correctly. I checked the plumbing and everything is correct there. The FMX is on version 4.01 and the NAVII is version 5.23 if that matters. Looks like I may have wasted a bunch of money if this is how it works!! Any ideas of where to start troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated. |
