Do you know the pinout of this connector? I haven't built a serial cable before, but my understanding is I should only need 3 wires, transmit, receive, and ground, right?

Pins 2, 3, and 5 will be the ones you'll use on both the DE9 connector and the Deutsch connector, and the terminals will match on each end (2 -> 2, 3 -> 3, and 5 -> 5). That will give you the equivalent of the official 380002422 cable. If the AgLeader display needs to receive GPS on pin 3, then you'll crosslink 2 and 3 (2 -> 3 and 3 -> 2). Or you can simply use a null modem adapter to swap the pins.
