Subject: RE:Question for soybean futures traders.

West KY, Miss River County

The current and nearby price of soybean futures (Mar-Jul) is understandably much stronger than the later months (Aug-Nov). Is there a technique by which we could capture some of the nearby strength so that it would eventually be realized in the Fall?

I believe that would be a bear spread, as you would sell the nearby and buy the farther out. The catch is will the market continue to invert until you cry 'uncle'.

jonas points out the difficulties.
