Iowa | I use SMS Advanced with Greenstar equipment.
I am able to create Straight AB lines based off of field boundaries, but not curved lines.
I can manage the guidance lines from the Greenstar displays. (Read guidance lines into SMS and able to export them out to other displays)
You can input costs associated with various products and operations. From there you can create reports to show what the cost is or what was used per field, per application, etc.
SMS can be a little overwhelming at first because of all the capabilities that it has. Winter is the perfect time to sit down and try it out to see if it will work for what you are trying to do.

Ag Leader also offers classroom training but mostly just at their home office in Ames, IA.
I would also recommend getting in touch with a local Ag Leader Dealer/Local Coop Agronomist/Neighbor who has some expertise with SMS if you are still stuck.
