Post calibration has failed. Nobody wants USB sticks, and spending hours in front of a PC...
Not to mention when you have some amount of data (+5,000 acres, multiple years) there is no home PC or software package that can decently handle that)
The only advantage I see in the old style of managing data is that: You can always reboot in safe mode!
