Northwest Il. | Awesome. I have a 76 black stripe late enough to have the 86 series seat on it from the factory. It was an extreme barn find 12 years ago. 1447 hours on it at that time. Rear original tires were dry rotted to the point of don't air them up. Two new rear tires,two new batteries with 17 year old fuel it fired instantly. Engine oil streamed from the front main instantly but loaded it up and brought her home. Took it to local CIH dealer to do front main seal and ran it 300 hrs. since on auger and mowing roads. Rear main seal has dripped bad but not completely out from years of sitting. You made my day posting the pic. I know what it will look like if I do the put off till next year restoration. Thanks again. I put a lot of hours on my dads 1466 as a kid. Just had to have one of my own. | |
