Subject: RE: Plugging green star into wall outlet

South Western Ontario
Use a old desk top computer power supply.
1. most power supplies will turn on without mother board if you jump the black ground wire with the green wire on the plug that fits onto motherboard.
2. The yellow wires are 12 volts dc. You might have to tie all the yellow wires together , since each single yellow wire has only a certain amount of amp capacity. Make sure to use a voltage meter to check voltage.
Most pc power supplies have the same wire color code ,but there could be an odd ball.
One thing about pc power supplies they are good clean power and cheap to get .
I use this setup with a trimble 750, and on a new 2050.
Remember to double check voltages.
