Farms.com of Canada went through a very similar thing, they had gotten very popular with the goat and sheep crowd, but other farmers as well eh.
Then they changed format, and through bureaucracy it took them 3 months before the software even worked, and it was awful afterwards, I don't know what they were thinking. Was just a failure of management entirely there.
